Important Announcement Regarding the Removal of the Publication Requirement for Graduation

Dear Students and Prospective Students,

In accordance with the decision of our University Senate, the “Publication Requirement” for graduation from the Master`s and PhD/Proficiency in Art programs affiliated with our Graduate School has been officially abolished.

According to this new decision:

1. Currently Enrolled Students:
   The obligation to publish before graduation has been completely removed for all Master`s and PhD/Proficiency in Art students currently enrolled in our Graduate School. These students may proceed with their graduation procedures without the need to fulfill a publication requirement, provided that all other graduation criteria are met.

2. New Prospective Students:
   For applicants to our programs starting from the Fall Semester of the 2025-2026 academic year and onward, the publication requirement will not be sought either as an admission or graduation criterion.
